During the fall semester the Kindergarten students of Guiding Light Academy discussed seasons and the weather. Our main focus was discussing FALL: What we see? What we hear? What we smell? To enhance our fall experience we decided to go on a Fall Scavenger Hunt at the neighborhood park. At the park students were nature explorers, they were given a clipboard with a worksheet labeled Fall Scavenger Hunt. On this worksheet students were asked to check off what they observed around them. Students were able to get a fun, hands-on experience to learn all about the season of fall.They also got a chance to play on the slides and swings once they completed the assignment!
