Last week, the students at Guiding Light Academy participated in French Immersion Week. They had the special opportunity to meet Ms. Monique Pereira, a bilingual author who read to them her French – English book entitled Mirai: Montre et raconte/Show and Tell. Students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 were able to expand their French vocabulary, learn about the EpiPen and as Ms. Pereira about herself and the inspiration behind her book.
