On Friday November 27th, 2015 Guiding Light Academy along with the Heralds of the Gospel held their annual Gala dinner. Students were very excited to perform their musical performance of the Nativity Story. This year the performance had a special focus on the Coronation of Mary, honouring Mary’s obedience and role within the Nativity. Staff and students worked very hard these past weeks practicing the many musical pieces during their music classes led by Soprano Holly Chaplin. Students demonstrated a high level of musical ability and many guests were very impressed with the variation in musical pieces. The evening was a success complete with great food and other impressive performances. We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone who played a role in making the evening such a positive event. The students of Guiding Light Academy are blessed to have such a wonderful support system in place. The staff is very proud of the example set by parents and students, your hard work did not go unnoticed!
