Bienvenue au Monde du Français!
The weather we’ve been experiencing lately lets us know that fall is on the way and our students are getting ready for it during French class. The kindergartens have done a fantastic job learning the poem “Une Jaune Feuille”. Each student played a part in bringing the poem to life with the actions that come with it. The students who played the role of the yellow leaves, showed us how the leaves fall to the ground when they heard the word “tombe”. Our “rouge” leaves demonstrated how a leaf would “bouge” (move) in the wind and finally our brown leaves showed us all how a leaf can also “vole” (fly) with the wind. We had a very dynamic French class and are looking forward to more!
Une Feuille Jaune
Une feuille jaune
Tombe, tombe, tombe,
Une feuille jaune
Tombe jusqu’au sol
Une feuille rouge
Bouge, bouge, bouge,
Une feuille rouge
Bouge dans le vent
Une feuille brune
Vole, vole, vole,
Une feuille brune
Vole jusqu’au ciel.
